Barrie Automotive Flea Market 50/50 draw 2026!
This was my first time to be at this event to help out as a new member and wow Burl’s Creek is huge. People were just getting set up when I was there on Thursday. But our team with Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club (OFGCC) was a well-oiled machine. The team were set up and actively out at this event drawing in people to help our organization. From what I understood this club has been there for over 24 years every year. There have been a lot of changes over that time with how well it was attended. This year the members tell me it is a bit smaller than in past. But being a person who likes to get their steps in everyday I still managed over 6000 steps in several hours. Of course, I had to get some shopping in when I travelled up and down the rows of venders so that slowed me down…. They do need more of an art section to draw me in. There were tires, auto parts new and old, antique or vintage cars, a food court and even some clothes for sale. A bit for everyone.
The weather was good for Thursday but I understand from talking to members that the weekend was windy and raining so the number of persons shopping was less and so the ticket sales were down.
Each day the 50/50 draw was drawn and the following are the names and ticket numbers that were paid out.

We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with this event and offered your time and energy to help with fund raising for this club. You are amazing and also probably wet and tired if you worked the weekend. The Johnny burgers I am sure helped make the event enjoyable in the rain. 🙂
